Successful Short Sale

August 28, 2009 by Short Sale Specialist · 4 Comments

Yesterday was a good day for my clients.  After months of brutal negotiations, we have finally closed the short sale.  Naturally, they were very thankful for the completed sale.  Their credit won’t take the same hit as a foreclosure, and with their second child just a few months old now, they will be able to realize their dream of homeownership in two years instead of the four to seven wait due to foreclosure.  Congratulations to the Logans!

I think more agents are beginning to see the benifit of working hard to bring about the short sale instead of foreclosure.

  2. Our market here in Denver is filled with short sales and Bank owned homes. It’s amazing to me that the banks aren’t more cooperative– or worse listing brokers who just don’t know how to work a short sale. It would be nice to see banks take a more proactive position in getting the deals done.
